Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of These Terms
Effective Date: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of https://www.releaserecovery.com/ and any related pages, forms, chat tools, and content (the “Site”). The Site is operated by Release Recovery LLC on behalf of the Release Recovery family of programs (“Release Recovery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
The Site provides information about the following programs, each operated by its own entity:
- Release Recovery Centers, LLC: outpatient substance use disorder treatment, operated by Release Recovery Centers LLC and certified by the NYS Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS). Texas location is licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
- Alpha 180, LLC: outpatient substance use disorder treatment, operated by Alpha 180 LLC and certified by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
- Release Recovery, LLC: Recovery residences and support services in Westchester, New York City, and Austin, operated by Release Recovery LLC. All services are non-clinical.
When these Terms say “we,” they mean the entity responsible for the program or service at issue.
2. Not Medical Advice; No Treatment Relationship
Content on the Site is for general information only. It is not medical, psychiatric, or clinical advice, and it is not a substitute for an evaluation by a qualified professional. Do not start, stop, or change any medication or treatment based on the Site.
Using the Site, submitting a form, calling or texting us, or speaking with admissions staff does not create a provider-patient or clinician-client relationship. A treatment relationship begins only after a clinical assessment and formal admission to a licensed program. Admissions staff provide information and coordinate next steps; they do not diagnose or provide treatment.
3. Emergencies
The Site, our forms, chat, email, and text lines are not monitored for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger, having a medical emergency, or experiencing an overdose, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in a mental health or substance use crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or chat at 988lifeline.org.
For confidential treatment referral information, you can also call the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357.
4. Eligibility and Use of the Site
You must be at least 18 years old to submit forms or contact us through the Site on your own behalf. A parent, guardian, or other authorized person may contact us about someone else, but must have the right to share that person’s information.
You agree to provide accurate information and to use the Site only for lawful purposes. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time without notice.
5. Admissions Inquiries, Insurance, and Payment
Submitting an inquiry or completing a screening does not guarantee admission. Admission depends on a clinical assessment, level-of-care criteria, program capacity, and other factors. We may refer you to another provider if our programs are not the right fit.
Release Recovery programs are out of network with all insurance plans. Any benefits check, pre-authorization call, or cost estimate we provide is a courtesy, based on information from you and your plan at that time. It is not a guarantee of coverage, reimbursement, or final cost. You are responsible for fees as described in your admission and financial agreements, which control over anything on the Site.
Program descriptions, schedules, amenities, and pricing on the Site may change and are not an offer or contract.
6. Calls, Texts, Emails, and Call Recording
When you submit a form or contact us, you agree that we may contact you at the phone number and email you provide about your inquiry, including by call, text message, and email. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of receiving services.
Calls to and from Release Recovery may be monitored and recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping. We use call-tracking technology to route calls and measure how people find us. By continuing a call, you consent to this recording.
Email and text are not fully secure. Please do not send detailed medical information through Site forms, email, or text unless we have asked you to through a secure method.
7. Privacy and Confidentiality
Our https://www.releaserecovery.com/privacy-policy explains how we collect and use information through the Site, including cookies and analytics. It is part of these Terms.
Once you become a patient of a licensed program, your health information is protected under HIPAA and, for substance use disorder treatment records, 42 CFR Part 2. Those protections are described in our Notice of Privacy Practices at https://www.releaserecovery.com/notice-of-privacy-practices. Where the Privacy Policy and the Notice of Privacy Practices conflict about patient records, the Notice controls.
We do not sell personal information.
8. Testimonials and Outcomes
Testimonials and stories on the Site reflect individual experiences. They are not typical results and do not guarantee any outcome. Recovery varies by person. Names and identifying details may be changed, and some photos may show models rather than patients.
People who share testimonials are not paid or given anything of value for them unless we clearly say so. Any outcome data we publish will state its source, time period, and who was included.
9. Referrals and No Inducements
We do not pay, and do not accept, anything of value in exchange for patient referrals. We do not offer free travel, housing, gifts, or other incentives to induce anyone to enter treatment. We comply with the Eliminating Kickbacks in Recovery Act (EKRA), 18 U.S.C. § 220, and applicable state patient-brokering laws.
Referral partners and marketers do not speak for Release Recovery. If anyone offers you something of value to enter one of our programs, or claims to be paid by us for referring you, please report it to compliance@releaserecovery.com.

14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to third-party websites, resources, scheduling tools, or payment processors. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability. A link does not mean we endorse the site or its content. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms.
15. Disclaimers
THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that its content is complete or current.
This section applies to your use of the Site only. It does not limit any duty owed to patients under applicable law or the terms of an admission agreement.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RELEASE RECOVERY AND ITS AFFILIATES, OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SITE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. This section does not limit liability for treatment or services, which are governed by your admission agreement and applicable law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Release Recovery and its affiliates, owners, officers, employees, and agents from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or misuse of the Site.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Except as stated below, any dispute arising from the Site will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Westchester County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
These Terms do not govern disputes about treatment or services, which are governed by your admission and financial agreements.
19. Accessibility
We aim to make the Site accessible to everyone, guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. If you have trouble accessing any part of the Site, contact us at compliance@releaserecovery.com or 914-588-6564 and we will provide the information in another way.
20. Changes, General Terms, and Contact
We may update these Terms at any time by posting a new version with a new Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any terms referenced in them are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
