RELEASE RECOVERY CENTERS

Release Recovery Centers offers outpatient clinical services — including PHP, IOP, and outpatient levels of care — to the Westchester community. Guided by a trauma-informed approach and overseen by our Chief Medical Officer, our treatment is comprehensive, evidence-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs throughout their recovery journey.

Our program offers a full continuum of clinical care, including individual and group therapy, evaluation, and medication management at every level. Guided by a trauma-informed approach and overseen by our Chief Medical Officer, treatment is comprehensive, evidence-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs throughout their recovery journey.

Our Clinical Approach

It's our belief that everyone coming into our care has some form of trauma. Therefore, our approach is centered around trauma-informed, evidence-based treatment that supports emotional, psychological, and physical healing. Our team integrates a wide range of therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Psychodrama, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM®).

All clients will work with our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Michael McCormick, in addition to our team of Master’s Level Clinicians. Our variety of specialized groups, combined with our gender-specific, trauma informed approach, creates a safe space for all to recover.

NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM®)

Our clinical philosophy draws deeply from the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM®), an advanced approach to psychotherapy developed to treat the long-term effects of complex and developmental trauma. At Release, NARM® is part of a broader commitment to trauma-informed care. Our clinicians are trained to use this modality with sensitivity and precision, guiding clients through a process that’s as compassionate as it is transformative.
